BEYOND STANDARD - Towards Alternative Museum Practices. 🧨🧪
 

This is the title of my mini essay completed during my 3rd year of DNMADE in Space-Event design program. I attempted to answer the question "how to exhibit 'beyond standard' artworks (understood as politically charged pieces) without distorting or decontextualizing them?"

I used a fanzine aesthetic to format my thesis. Each section corresponds to an issue of the "Beyond Standard" fanzine.

There are two versions: an online version made from collages then scanned (viewable on the link below), and a printed version with its base that you can see in the video and photos below.
